Questions

Quick answers before you buy.

What exactly do I get?

Two files: an 18-page PDF for reading on a screen or printing, and the same book as a Word (.docx) file. You get both on the download page right after payment.

Which age is it for?

Ages 2 to 6. Younger children enjoy the pictures and naming the faces. Older children can answer "when did you feel like that?" and try the calming tools.

Is it gentle enough for sensitive children?

Yes. Nothing in the book is scary or loud. Even the angry and scared pages are soft, and every feeling ends with a kind "It is okay."

Is it therapy or medical advice?

No. It is a picture book for sharing and talking. If big feelings last a long time or worry you, a doctor or child specialist can help.

Do I need to print it?

No. It is made to be read on a phone or tablet, with one picture per page. You can also print it on A4 to make a paper book.

What paper size is it?

A4. On US Letter, choose "Fit to page" in the print dialog and it prints fine. The pictures are in color, so print in color mode. The name page and the feelings chart are meant to be colored in.

Can I edit the Word file?

The Word file holds the same pages as pictures, which is handy if you prefer to print from Word or Google Docs. The text is not editable. For the sharpest result, use the PDF.

Can I print it more than once?

Yes, print as many copies as you like for your own family or classroom. Please don't resell or share the files.

What if I lose the download page?

Bookmark it after paying. If you lose it, contact us using the details on your Stripe receipt and we will help.

Can I get a refund?

Digital downloads can't be returned once delivered. If a file is broken or doesn't open, contact us and we will fix it or refund you. See the terms.
